Castles for shelter cats

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Pretty much everyone knows cats love boxes. That’s why we think the Animal Rescue’s Site’s Castles for Shelter Cats is a great idea!

We donated a castle for a shelter cat through the Animal Rescue Site and plan to do so again soon. Since it’s easy and very inexpensive to do, we wanted to recommend that others do it too.

The idea is that for $5 you can donate a cardboard “castle” that will be provided that a cat in an animal shelter, and help to make the cat’s experience in the shelter more comfortable and less stressful. The castle has a top that cat can sit on, and, of course, the cat can also find some comfort inside the box.

Another great aspect of the castle is that it converts to a carrier when the cat is adopted.
