Meadow chews stuff up; the continuing adventures of a dog and her ‘indestructible’ chew toys

Reading Time: 2 minutes

As you may know, from time to time, we feature my sister’s dog, Meadow, and put a new toy to the the Meadow chew test to see how long a toy usually described as durable or indestructible, or something along those lines, can survive Meadow’s strong teeth and enthusiastic playing.

This time, we’re looking at: Kong Tug Toy

This toy is recommended for medium-size dogs like Meadow. On Amazon.com, it is described as:  “… great for those epic games of tugging with the waggy one who pulls hardest. Made with all-natural durable KONG Rubber for a stretchy, durable toy that springs back into shape for tons of twisty tugging action. Comfy handles make it easy for you to keep hold as you enjoy interactive play sessions.”

For more about this toy, check it out on Amazon.

So, did this pull-toy pass the Meadow Chew Test? The answer is…sort of.

Here it is after one week. As you can see, it’s missing a chunk, but, overall, still hanging in there for more tug-of-war sessions.

As for Meadow? Well, all that chewing can wear a girl out.
