Andrew Darlow, a Piscataway, New Jersey-based photographer, author and educator has built a new website, Teekee.org, to honor the memory of Teekee, a Monroe Township dog who recently passed away at 15 years of age.
The website features photographs of Teekee with a number of support options, from how to donate directly, to how to purchase prints or portrait sessions.
“I decided to build http://www.Teekee.org to honor the memory of Teekee and to also encourage people to consider supporting the Monmouth County SPCA,” said Andrew. “I feel fortunate to have photographed Teekee many times over the last decade, and I wanted to do what I could to help make a positive difference in the lives of other animals.”
Teekee’s “Mom” Jayne added that Teekee was very special to her and touched the hearts of many other people and pets.
“I requested that all donations be made to the Monmouth County SPCA because of the wonderful work they do and also due to Teekee’s involvement with their pet therapy program,” Jayne said. “I hope that Teekee’s story and spirit will help to inspire others to donate to this very worthwhile project.”
Andrew Darlow and his pet photography have been featured in numerous publications and video programs, including Animal Planet and The AKC Gazette, the official publication of the American Kennel Club. He specializes in photographing people and their pets in both formal and informal situations.
Andrew is the author of four award-winning photo-related books and publishes the Inkjet & Imaging Tips Newsletter, available at www.ImagingBuffet.com.
The Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was founded in 1945 to care for the community’s homeless, neglected and abused animals.
