A few weeks ago, I posted about the tiny kitten my neighbor dropped off at my house. She had found it in the road during Tropical Storm Elsa.
Initially, the kitten was in rough shape. Among other health issues, she was very tiny, soaking wet, covered in fleas and had an eye infection, diarrhea and was bleeding near her mouth.

But, she had a voracious appetite, and ate constantly. In fact, for about a week, I made sure to feed her kitten milk every couple of hours, but didn’t have to for long after that because she was crazy about wet food too and able to eat that on her own. And, soon, she started to look better and better.
I gave her some pureed pumpkin, which helped clear up the diarrhea.

In fact, she soon became so active that most of the pictures I tried to take of her came out blurry because she wouldn’t stand still. So, I ended up with a lot of shots like this one:

Finally, though, I got some good ones that I’m sharing a couple of. Kitten, who is tentatively named Slugger, because of the way she bats away the challenges in front of her, is a healthy weight, very active and affectionate, and getting super pretty.
